Step 1 Reading

1. Listen to the tape and get the main idea of the passage. 2. Read the passage carefully and ask Ss to answer the following questions. (1)

What does he act as on the team? (2)

What helped him to move and think? (3)

Why does he think the team who won the first place cheated? Suggested Answers: (1)

On the team, I’m a striker, so I can run very fast. (2)

My computer chips help me to move and think like a human. (3)

Because they had a new kind of program, which had just been developed before the competition. Step 2 Writing Purpose: To develop Ss’ writing ability.
