Greet with students and review the important words of unit4. T:How are you ? Ss: I’m fine . T:OK,let’s review the words of unit4 ,take out your word cards ,when I play the frequency ,you should put up the word cards that you hear.

Step 2:lead in

Show the song ,students should sing it together . And then , show some pictures of “changes”,let students to make sentences about “is/was

are/were”

Step 3:presentation Let’s check

1.

give students 1 minute to look at pictures of let’s check and describe them in English 2.

Play the tape ,students listen carefully and number 3.

Ask students to show their answers and help them correct. 4.

Listen again ,cross out the words they didn’t hear. 5.

Lead students to retell the story. Let’s wrap it up

1.show pictures of let’s wrap it up ,give an example of picture 1 . 2.Give students 2 minutes to work in pair ,students add these sentences . 3.students draw these pictures of changes and describe in English. 4.students evaluate each other. Story time 1.

show the video of story time,ask students to get main idea. 2.

Read and understand the story picture by picture . 3.

Act this story on the stage , students compete with each other ,choose

the best one ,give them some sugar. 4.
