Teaching Objectives 1. Knowledge objects:

(1) Understand the diary correctly with the help of the teacher and the pictures. (2) Recognize and read some useful expressions, such as rode a bike for three people,bad fruit, dressed up, played a part of a dog, jumped, licked, laughed. 2. Ability objects:

(1) Get some detailed information from the text and finish the

corresponding tasks. (2) Use some words and sentence patterns to describe past

events. 3. Emotional objects:

(1) Stimulate their love for their parents and learn to be a good child (2) Know our life is full of good news and bad news, and try to

change bad news into good news. 

Teaching important and difficult points . 1. Important points: Help students to get some detailed information from the text and finish the tasks.

2. Difficult points:Understand the phrases such as :played the part of,dressed up,laughed,licked. 

Teaching process 1. Warm-up. Say hello and talk about the weekend.Today is Monday.What did you do yesterday? Watching the video and talk about what happened to peppa pig. Why did peppa have a bad but good day? 2. Review

Talk about Wuyifan’s summer holiday to review the phrases and the sentences. 3. Lead-in Find out the key clue:the dog.How did Wu Yifan meet Max?What will happen text?According to the pictures to lead in Wu Yifan’s diary. 4. Presentation

(1) Look at the diary and find out the verbs in past tense.Showing a micro class to summary how to change verbs in past tense and learn the new verbs in this diary. (2) Listen to the tape and find out the answers for the question. (3) Read quickly and number the pictures. (4) Read carefully and find out what happened to Wu Yifan’s

family.find out the bad things and the good things. (5) Talk about your bad but good day with your partner and write it down . 5. Consolidation. Read the Chinese story about 塞翁失马,焉知非福 . Talk about the good and bad things. 6. Homework (1) Please try to repeat this diary to your friends. (2) Please write your diary to record your bad but good day. 
