plan I. Teaching aims: The knowledge aim is that Students can listen, speak and recognize these phrases and can use these useful expressions, such as:where did you go / how did you go there / what did you go …

The ability aim is that they can improve their listening, speaking

and cooperation abilities through some activities and practice.

The emotion aim is that they will more confidence in learning English and also have more interest in traveling. II. Key and difficult points:

The key point of this lesson is that Student can consolidate these phrases and these useful expressions.

The difficult point is that Students can use these sentences in their daily life correctly and skillfully. III. Teaching methods: TBL, CLT, multimedia IV. Teaching aids: PPT, pictures, radio. V. Teaching procedures: Step1: Warming up and lead-in

Greet to students as usual.

Use a photo of mine to lead in today’s topic.

Step2: Presentation and practice.

Task1: Review

I will show them pictures to consolidate these phrases one by one. Such as : rode a bike, went camping, took pictures, bought gifts and so on.

Task2: Useful expressions

Based on the consolidation of these phrases, I will use the PPT to present these sentence patterns one by one :---When did you go ? ---I went there …/---Where did you go ?---I went to…/---How did you go there ?---I went thre by…/---What did you do ?---I …

Practice:1. Teacher asks, Ss answer.

2. Pair work (one asks, one answers).

Step3: Production

In order to help Ss consolidate these knowledge, I set two activities:

Activty1: Sentence dragon

Activity2: Role-play: to imitate this video with their deskmates, after few minutes ,I will invite some students to show their work before the whole class , and give them positive feedback.

Step4: Summary and homework

At last, I will lead the whole class to summary.

For homework, I will ask them to write a composition---My trip VIII, Blackboard design
