学生分析:
本课的教学对象是小学六年级的学生,他们长大了,十分懂事。所以当节日到来的时候他们知道送给爸爸、妈妈、老师及其他人礼物。但是在重阳节的时候,他们很少给祖父母、外祖父母买礼物。因为他们有的根本就不知道这个节日。本节课,我将会带他们去了解重阳节,并且教育他们去热爱和尊重老人。
课标分析:
小学英语新课程明确提出小学英语教学要注重面向全体学生,关注学生的全面发展,实施素质教育。课堂教学是教师和学生的共同活动,在这种共同活动中,学生是学习的主体,教师的作用是引导学生运用已知去探索未知,并在这个过程中培养他们的主体意识和做“主人”的能力,教师辛勤的劳动成果只能在学生身上体现出来。
教材分析:
本课是关于在重阳节给老人送礼物的会话。会话的目的是使学生学会提出建议的表达方法,并能在掌握对话的基础上使用提出建议表达法。通过学生们为老人制作贺卡,不但激发了他们学习英语的兴趣,而且培养了他们热爱老人的情怀。
Teaching aim Knowledge aims (1)To enable the Ss to learn the words: double,festival,show,fold,wish. (2)To enable the Ss understand the sentence : What shall we do for them?Why not make some cards? (3)To enable the Ss to ask and answer : What shall we do for them?Why not make some cards?
Ability aims To develop the Ss’abilities of listening and speaking. To train the Ss’ability of working in groups. To foster the Ss’abilities of communication and their innovation. Feeling,Attitude and Value:
1、To arouse the Ss’ interests in English.
2、To train the Ss’ cooperative and creative abilities.
3、To arouse the Ss’ love for the old people. 【Key points and Difficult Points】
The key points are the dialogue in Learn to say ,the words and the sentences in Try to use. The difficult points are how to use the new drills in real situations. 【Teaching Style】Situation creating、task-based approach, operating by hands Teaching process:
Step 1.Warm-up Greetings::Hello,boys and girls. Ss:Hello,Miss liu.. T:How are you? Ss:I’m fine,thank you.How are you?
T:I’m fine,thank you.Let’s sing a song. OK? Ss:OK.
2.Sing a song:”If you are happy.”
设计思路:通过和学生们一起唱歌,跳舞,创造出轻松和谐的英语学习氛围,使他们从上课开始,就进入到学习英语的良好状态当中。
Step 2. Learning. 1.Show the students two questions. (1).Is tomorrow the Double Ninth Day? (2).What is the Double Ninth Day? 2. Ask three Ss to act out the text. 3.Let the Ss answer the questions. S1:Yes. T: Ask Ss to say “Double Ninth Day”.Say “double”.Read one by one, two by two. S2:It’s a festival for the old people. T:Say “festival”,let Ss make some sentences.( Bb handwriting “festival”). 4.T:The Double Ninth Day is coming.It’s a festival for the old people----your grandfather and your grandmother.They love you very much.What shall we do for them?(Write this sentence on Bb,Ss follow the teacher.)
S1:Buy some gifts. S2:Buy some fruit. T:Good children!Why not make some cards?(Write this sentence on the Bb.Ss follow the teacher) Show Ss a cardboard.) T:How to make a card?Let me show you. “show”(Bb handwriting:show) Teach this word with the same method. T:First,prepare a piece of cardboard.Then,fold it like this.Teacher shows the meaning of “fold” by doing action.Ss learn to read and write the word in different ways. Finally,write our wishes on it.Teacher write the word “wish”on the blackboard.Teacher shows the reading.Ss try to make sentences with it. 5.Let Ss copy the new words and the new sentences. 6.Ask and answer in pairs. A:What shall we do for the old people/our school/our teacher/our parents? B:Why not…
7.listen and repeat.(dialogue) 8.Read the text follow the teacher. 9.Read the dialogue by themselves,read in groups ,read together. 教学思路:通过回答问题,动手操作等不同的形式呈现单词,再用各种方式操练单词,拓展单词,用单词造句,提高了学生理解单词、记忆单词以及运用单词的能力。
Step 3. Practice 1.Ss make a new dialogue in groups.Tell the Ss that they can use the sentences in the dialogue and also the sentences they have learned before.
2.Act the new dialogue.They can act in front of the class. 教学思路:在学完新单词、新句型以及对话之后,教师让学生们编小对话,并且以小组为单位进行表演。这种活动能提高学生运用英语的能力。
Step 4.Emotional education. T:Boys and girls,your grandparents love you,I know you also love your grandparents.In fact we should respect all the old peope.Because“We will grow old ,we should be kind to the old people.”
教学思路:通过本节课的学习,对学生进行思想教育。让每个学生都懂得尊重老人,爱护老人。

本节课的整个教学设计和展开都是在小学英语新课标的指导下完成的,采用了展示课件和表演课文的形式引入课题,一开始就激起了学生强烈的学习兴趣。采用任务型教学,让孩子将所学的知识运用到创设的生活情境中,学生的思维能力得到很大的提高,但是由于时间有限,个别基础差的学生对新知识的掌握不到位,在今后的教学中应该对这些学生给予关注。
