一、Teaching Aims: 复习词汇: younger, older, taller, shorter, longer, shorter, smaller, bigger, thinner, heavier, stronger.要求学生能够听、说、读、写以上四会短语。

复习对话：How tall are you ? I am 1.61 metres. How old are you? I am 12 years old. How heavy are you? I am 52 kilograms. 要求同学们之间相互能够运用、交流。

学习Story time 二、Teaching important points: 要求学生能够理解故事大意，并能够快速而流利的阅读故事。

三、Teaching difficulty points: 让学生们分角色朗读故事。

四、Teaching Aids: PPT和point reading。

五、Teaching Procedures: Step One: Guide Before class, let’s look at a photo. Do you know a

person in the photo ? Oh ,this pretty girl is your English teacher. This woman is my mother . Look! She is taller than me.She is 1.63 metres. I want to know How tall are you? Step two: Review some key new words. write them on the board. Then read after me .Next , find some students, make some sentences. younger - older, taller - shorter, longer- shorter, smaller- bigger, thinner,-heavier, stronger. Step three: Review some dialogues. Let students read and practice. How tall are you ? I am 1.61 metres. How old are you? I am 12 years old. How heavy are you? I am 52 kilograms. Step four: Practice 通过三个问题，让同学们快速而流利的阅读Story time。
