学情分析：

五年级学生对英语有兴趣，会表达简单的英语口语，能听懂指令，对于单词short pants有所了解，对句型How much is it ?学生已经掌握，从而过渡到How much are they ?新句型的学习。

教学重点：

a pair of short pants,

How much are….与How much is…的区别，以及如何恰当使用句型。

教学过程：

Step1 Warm up (1)

Step 2 Presentation (1)播放课文动画，提出问题what does peter want to buy? 让学生从整体感知课文

(2)教学a pair of short pants （1）PPT 展示袜子，太阳镜，鞋，通过实物让学生理解a pair of 的含义，能说出a pair of socks,a pair of shoes,a pair of sunglasses 等短语。

（2）PPT出示自编chant

设计意图通过chant让学生更好的掌握a pair of 的用法。

（3）教学They’re too big for me 教师走到学生桌子前指着一顶帽子说：There is a beautiful hat .并对一个学生说Is this your hat? Can I try it on ?引导学生说出Sure,Here you are.教师试戴帽子说：It’s too big for me 师拿出一个太阳镜说I have a sunglasses.It’s very cool! Who want to try?引导学生说出They’re too big for me. 设计意图，为学生创设使用语言的情景，使学生在交流中学习语言。

（4）教学would you please show me that pair of short pants? 通过播放课文动画出示问题does Peter buy the first short pants? 引导学生回答No,he dosen’t.引出句子would you please show me that pair of short pants?师引导学生回答Sure,Here you are.教师对学生说：xxx,would you please show me your book?,生回答Sure，Here you are.教师让学生互相练习问答游戏。PPT出示衣物鞋，帽子，让学生用would you please show me...问答练习。

设计意图通过小组合作培养学生的协作意识，在交流中更好地运用所学知识。

（5）教学How much are they? PPT出示How much are these short pants?让学生自己读对话找出答案They’re sixty-five yuan. PPT出示鞋，眼镜，长裤，裙子的价格。让学生对话练习问价格，区分How much are they ?和How much is it ? PPT出示教师自编chant,学生朗读chant ,并能够模仿教师的chant 创作新的chant 设计意图通过问答巩固知识，创编chant培养学生运用语言，使用语言的能力。
