能听说认读三个学校设施名称及表示过去的时间短语：dining hall, grass, gym, …..years ago,…..months ago, last year等。

能听说认读句子：There was no gym in my school twenty years ago.

Now there’s a new one in our school. 教学重点：

1.能听说认读本课时单词和句子。

2.能正确使用一般过去时和一般现在时。

教学过程: Step1

Warm-up & Review 1、Free talk: Good morning boys and girls/How are you ?/How was your last weekend?/Where did you go?/How did you go there? 2、let’s sing: 《Bingo》通过歌曲，让学生初步感知There was 句型。

Step2

Lead-in T:(show the picture)This is Miss Xia’s new school, It’s big and beautiful, Let’s go and see what’s in my new school. 1

教学单词dining hall, grass, gym, ….years ago,…months ago, last year/month. (1)

Show the picture of gym. T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a gym. 板书gym并教读。

引导学生说：There is a gym…. (2)

以同样的方法教学dining hall/grass (3)

Let’s chant 2、教学时间短语…years ago …months ago

last year last month，引入句子There was no……+时间短语

（1）T：（show the picture）This is the picture of my school twenty years ago,板书：twenty years ago 教读并引导学生理解含义。

T：In Miss He’s old school, was there a gym ?引导学生回答：There was no gym in my school twenty ago.用同样方法引导学生用there was 说更句子。

Step3: Consolidate 1、

Can you read?(个别检查，再齐读) 2、

Make new sentences.

3、Find the mistakes. 学生先自己读句子，然后小组合作找出错误的地方。
