【教学目标】

1．语言技能：

（1）能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解单词和句子的意思。

（2）能听、说、读、写younger、older、taller、shorter、longer单词，发音准确。

（3）能听懂问句并使用句型：How tall are you? I’m 1.62 meters.

I’m taller/shorter. （4）能够运用新学的内容完成Homework的作业。

（5）能够完成对比自己与同学身高的活动。

2．语言知识：

能初步理解形容词的原级、比较级的表现形式。

3．情感态度、学习策略与文化意识：

（1）敢于开口，表达中不怕出错误。

（2）能对新学内容进行归纳与总结。

一．课前热身（warm-up）

Hello, boys and girls. S: Hello! T: Say Hello to other teachers!（生未懂解释）

S: Hello! T: Ok. Sit down please! Today I’m your English teacher Miss Yang. I’m 26 years old. How old are you? S: I’m……

T: I’m old. You’re young.（复习old与young）

T: I’m one point six two meters. (强调)

How tall are you? S: I’m……

T: Ok. today our topic is: How tall are you? 3.

revision (打开课件，播放姚明的图片，复习young, old, tall, short, long.) T: Look! Who is he? S: He is Yao Ming. T: Good. Yao Ming is 36 years old. So he is young or old? S: young. T: Yao Ming is 2.26 meters. He is tall or short? S: tall. T: his hair，long or short? S: short.

教师用多媒体课件出示教师本人与姚明的图片，与学生对话，如：T: Look at this picture. How tall is Miss Yang? S: 1.62 meters.

T: How tall is Yao Ming? S: 2.26 meters. T: Who is short? Who is tall? S: Miss Yang is short. Yao Ming is tall. T: So Miss Yang is shorter? S: Yes, Miss Yang is shorter.

T: And Yao Ming is…

S: Taller. T: Ok, read after me two times, shorter. (教读shorter, 升降调)

教师出示教师本人与姚明的图片，与学生进行对话，如：

T: Look at Miss Yang’s and Yao Ming’s hair. (教师用手示意头发)

S-H-O-R-T-E-R T: How many words we learn just now? S: five words. T: The first one is younger, the second one is older, the third one is taller, the fourth one is shorter, the fifth one is longer. ④

教师把本节课学习的五个新单词呈现在PPT上，并播放录音，生模仿跟读。

三．活动练习（practice）

1. 复习巩固单词。

（1）

Magic ears（学生根据老师的口型猜新学单词，然后请学生上来展示。）

（2）

Play on the see-saw （当教师说出一个单词时，学生就说出与它相反的单

词，并做出相反的动作。然后抽学生上来模仿。）

2. 句子操练。Look and say. （1）通过以前学习过的How old are you? 引出I’m older/younger. (学生仿造上面的句子进行小组练习，然后教师抽小组展示。) （2）通过提问How tall are you? 引出I’m taller/shorter. (学生仿造上面的句子进行小组练习，然后教师抽小组展示。)
