Teaching Design for the grammar in Book 2 Unit 3 The future passive voice Teacher: Chen Yanfen

students: Class 8, senior 1 Time: Nov 27th,2018

Teaching aims: 1. To enable the students to understand the meaning and structure of the future passive voice. 2. To use the structures correctly.

Teaching important and difficult points: 1. Get the students to discover and learn the usage of the future passive voice. 2. Help the students put the structures into practice. Teaching methods: Task-based language teaching; group work learning; Ask and answer Teaching aids: Computer; Multimedia; PowerPoint

Teaching procedures: Step 1: Discovering grammar Find out the sentences with “will be done” on page 10 of their text book. Step2: Approaching grammar Task 1：Have the students finish the sentence according to the hints.

Task 2:

Observe and summary Summary: What is the meaning and the structure of the future passive voice? Step 3 The presentation and analysis of the key structure Task 1: Please find out the key structures of the future passive voice

Task 2: Analyze the structure Task 3: Make a summary the key structures of the future passive voice Step 4 Intensive practise & consolidation(巩固语法) Finish the blanks filling exercise. Group competition is going to assigned, which aims to consolidate what Ss have learnt before.

Step 5 Summary Have the students summarize the meaning and structure of the future passive voice. Step6 Homework 1.
