Teaching content: Book 2 Unit 3 Computers Lesson: Period 4 Learning about language Time: The second class on June 15th, 2019 Teacher: Niu Hongying

Class: Class two, Senior one. Learning goals: Knowledge goals: 1.

Students master some useful words and expressions. Eg: simplify, calculate, solve, explore, totally, mobile, anyhow,f inance, network,

revolution, artificial intelligence, IT(information technology), applications, explore, World Wide Web., in reality.

2.Students can complete a passage with the words.

Ability goals: 1.Students are able to put a story in the correct order (My story). 2.Students can create their own story by using the given outline. Emotional goal: Students’confidence and determination will be built up. Teaching important and difficult points: 1.

Help students master the useful words and expressions in Unit 3. 2.

Help students complete the passage with the given words . 3.

Students create a new story. Visual Aids: Multimedia, PPT, cards, handouts, textbook. Teaching Methods: Task- based language teaching method. Cooperative learning.

Teaching procedures: Teaching steps Step 1 Warming up
