【教材分析】

本单元的主题语境是“人与科技”，内容涉及计算机的发展历史、计算机的应用等，其中还谈到包括计算机在内的几种信息技术的载体、智能机器人的发明等等。本节课的内容是要重点单词短语的意义和运用，以及语法点“现在完成时的被动语态”的学习和运用。

【教学目标】

【Preparation】1. Read the new words and expressions in the reading text.

2. Translation: Find out the English sentences for the Chinese ones in the reading text..

【教学活动设计】

Step One: Warming up and leading-in Word competition: Ask two students to say out the words quickly and see who is the quicker one to say the right words. Step Two: Discovering useful words and expressions. 1.

Ask students to finish Ex. 1 individually, then talk about the answers with their partner. At last, check the answers together. 2.

Show the words of Ex. 2 on the screen and ask students to talk about their

meanings. Then ask students to do Ex. 2. 3.

Ask students to read the story in Ex. 3 , pay attention to the expression in blue. Discuss what they mean and how to use them. Ask students to create one of their own orally. Step Three: Discovering useful structures. 1.

Lead in: Check their pre-class homework. Ask one student to show his answers on the projector and check the answers. 2.

Discover the structures. 1)

Ask students to read the sentences carefully and try to find out the structures of the sentences. 2)

Summarize the structure:
