A Trip “on the True North”

I. Teaching aims: 1. Learn about some basic knowledge of Canada. 2. Develop students’ reading ability and enable students to understand the details of the passage about Canada。

3. Guide the students to know more about Canada and cultivate students’ awareness of cooperative learning。

II. Teaching important point To read the passage and learn about the location, population, main cities, natural scenery and resource of Canada III. Teaching procedures Step 1 Leading in T shows some photos taken by a student and invites him/her to briefly introduce his/her trip so as to arise the interest in this class. 设计意图：本环节通过学生对自己旅游时所拍的照片进行简短的描述，激发学生对本节课的兴趣和期待。通过本部分，引入本节课所学内容，为接下来的学习做好准备。
