阅读部分是一个科幻小故事，通过“我”和“我的朋友”乘坐宇宙飞船登月球的经历，介绍了重力，失重和地球引力等科学道理。说和写部分以“visiting the moon ”为话题，要求学生讨论登月要携带的东西，月球上可能碰到的困难以及找出解决这些困难的办法。

学情分析：

对于高一第二学期的学生来说，他们大多数学生已经比较适应高中的英语教学模式，但是学生水平层次不齐是本节授课的重大挑战。天文学话题是同学们比较感兴趣的话题，可以稍微弥补一下他们的不足之处。

Warming up and lead-in

Students watch a video about Armstrong’s landing on the moon. Let the students know something about people’s exploration about the space. After watching the video, let the students do a quiz. 1.Who is the first man landing on the moon?

Armstrong. (1969, America) 2.Which country first sent people up to the space?

A.China

B.USA

C.the former Soviet Union

3.Who is the first Chinese astronaut to go into space?

Yang Liwei. 4.So far how many countries have succeeded in sending people up into space?

Three 5.What was the date when China successfully launched Chang’e1?

Show students some pictures about new words “astronaut, spacewalk, weightless, weightlessly, float” and so on.

Ask the students to read the passage quickly and answer the following questions.

1. Who do I have a chance to travel to the space?

2. How did we travel to the moon?

3. What is the writing order in the text?

4. How many times would the force of gravity change during our journey? And which one would be the most powerful? Step4: Careful reading

Ask the students to read the passage carefully and fill in the form. Task 1

Ask one of the students to come to the blackboard and fill in the form.

1. Why was returning to the earth very frightening? Why? 2. How did I feel? Step5 Summary Ask the students to read the passage again and summarize the main idea in one sentence. Step 6 Speaking After reading the passage, we have known that life on the moon is very different from the life on the earth. So imagine what we need if we visited the moon. Work in groups of four and have a discussion. After discussion, choose one group to act out their dialogue. Step 7 Writing

Imagine you are going to the moon. Think about what difficulty you might meet and what you will do to overcome the difficulty.

I will give them a simple version. And let the students to rewrite the passage using some complex sentences and advanced words.

If I visited the moon, here is a problem I might have: how to stop my food floating away.

I would have to take all my food with me if I went to the moon. In the spaceship there is no gravity so the food would float around if it was solid. So I would make sure that it is specially made as liquid spacefood.

It could be put in a tube and then I would be able to eat it easily. Step 8 Homework

教学反思

通过本节授课，基本完成了教学任务。从读到说，大多数学生都完成的较好，能积极主动参与到教学过程中并且较高质量的完成。还有少数学生不能适应全英授课模式，对于高一学生他们还在适应转型当中，我一定尽最大努力去帮助每一名学生。对于写作的处理，如果能针对性的给出他们更多指导，相信学生会完成的更好。
