单元分析：

本单元Story time 通过交际学习句型 How old are you ? 和数学 1-10 。Cartoon time 以 Sam 过生日为背景，学习了西方过生日的文化常识（三上第八单元的Cartoon time 也是过生日送礼物的场景，是西方过生日文化和句型的延伸）。在Sound time中，主要归类了字母s的发音。Rhyme time 是利用小诗的节奏和韵律复习数字和词组。Checkout time 是“How old are you ?”在日常生活中的运用。
