课题: Lesson3 Let’s Play!

一,课标要求

本单元围绕“运动”这个话题,展开各种运动形式的讨论,本课通过Danny, Li Ming 和Jenny在运动场上运动的故事,学习各种体育运动的英语表达及句型。在交流和体验中完成对本课重点知识的学习,并体会运动带来的乐趣。

二,教学目标

1.知识与能力目标:

(1)能听懂,会说,朗读,书写词汇basketball, try, heavy, difficult, easy, hand;能听说并理解词汇throw, catch和hit。

(2)能准确运用短语throw/catch the basketball, hit the ball以及句型Let me try 等描述运动的过程。

(3)能在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂、朗读对话。

(4)能灵活运用关键句型表演或创编新的对话。

2.学习策略目标:

在对运动器材感知的过程中理解、运用句型The….is light/heavy. This is too easy/different.来表达自己的感受。

3.情感态度价值观:

学生通过本课的学习能体会到英语学习的乐趣,乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语,在交流中感受运动的乐趣,培养学生安全运动的意识。

三,教学重难点

1.教学重点:掌握两组反义词:easy-difficult, heavy-light,并了解一些常用动

词及其变化形式:throw-throwing, hit-hitting等

2.教学难点:

正确流利的表达或描述运动的过程及其感受。

3.突破重难点的方法:通过情景设置,让学生在先对真实的任务活动中应用、表达运动的过程和感受。

四,教学过程:

Step I Warming-up

1.Greetings.

T: Good morning, Children.

Ss: Good morning, teacher.

2. 出示各种趣味运动的图片。

T: This is a playground. There is an interesting sports meeting here. Let’s enjoy it. T: They are playing sports. Do you enjoy the sports meeting?

What sport do you want to play?

T: Let’s play t ogether.

Are you ready?

2. 出示各种趣味运动的图片。

T: This is a playground. There is an interesting sports meeting here. Let’s enjoy it.

T: They are playing sports. Do you enjoy the sports meeting?

What sport do you want to play?

Ss: I want to play basketball / badminton / football / volleyball / ping-pong…

点出本课的标题,并板书。

设计意图:

运用图片直观的营造趣味运动会的大情景,同时复习常见的几种运动形式。并在自由交流中激发学生主动参与的热情,为本课的学习奠定情感基础。

Step II

New Concepts

1. 教授light和heavy

T: Guess what I want to play. I want to play ping-pong. I can play ping-pong like this. (托球)

Can I play basketball like this?

Let me try.

Ouch. I can’t play it. Why?

Show me your hands. Hold them.

PPT 出示天平,引出light 和heavy。纠音。

Ss: The basketball is heavy. The ping-pong ball is light.

学生掂一掂,感受一下light和heavy。并说一说。

设计意图:亲自感受并学习单词。

T: What about the shuttlecock and the football?

How about the paper and the desk?

T: What else is light?

What else is heavy?

S: The shuttlecock is light.

The football is heavy.

S: The paper is light.

The desk is heavy.

学生说一说身边的事物什么轻,什么重。

设计意图:开拓学生的思维,在找一找、说一说的任务中运用新词light和heavy。2. 教授throw和catch

T: The basketball is heavy. I can’t play it. Who can teach me to play basketball? Please show us.

T: He bounces the ball and throws it to me. I can throw the ball to… C an you throw it to me?

TPR引出throw,纠音。

T: Here’s an interesting event. Throw the balls into the basket.

Who wants to try?

(两组各选一名学生扔球)

T: This is your basket. This is yours. Others, Clap your hands and say “Throw the ball”.

Ready? Go.

T: Let me see. Who is the winner? Team…is better. Clap your hands for them.

T: Look. I’m throwing the ball.

领读catch。

TPR, 区分throw和catch。

设计意图:在真实的运动中,边玩边运用语言,进而达到巩固throw和catch的目的。

学习easy和difficult

跟读,操练easy。

想一想,说一说:

4.Listen and imitate:

出示问题:

T: Can Danny catch the ball? Can Danny throw the ball? Is it easy for Danny? Please listen and imitate.

教授difficult。纠音,领读。

5. Play ping-pong

T: (出示图片)Danny can not throw the basketball. Can he throw the ping-pong ball? Do you play ping-pong like this?

教授hit并领读。

Can Danny hit the ping-pong ball?

Listen and imitate.

T: Where does Danny hit?

Does Danny hurt?

T: Look. I’m hitting the ball. Do you want to play? This is the third eve nt. Hit the ball to the wall. Who wants to try?

设计意图:TPR和图片呈现,帮助学生理解文本内容,正确运用词汇,规范语音语调。

Step III Practice and Production

1.Enjoy the sports.

T: Sports are fun. Here is another interesting event. Let’s enjoy it. Wha t do they play? How do they play it?

T: Catch the basketball

学生欣赏视频,为后面的小组合作做铺垫。

2. Group work

T: What an interesting event! Look. There are many balls in the classroom. You can use them to play. Can you design an interesting event. Talk about how to play and say it in English. No Chinese. You can use the key sentences. Then play it with your partners. Enjoy your sports.

学生三人一组,讨论并设计自己的趣味运动项目,和同伴说一说,玩一玩。

设计意图:通过说一说、演一演的活动任务,帮助学生运用本课的语言进行交流。实现语言的综合运用。

五,作业:

1. Listen and imitate the text.

2. Do exercise on Page 7.

六,板书设计:

新授单词呈现部分改为:

1.画出篮球乒乓球描述特征

2.通过预测天平上两球的走势引出“heavy、light”

3.学习过throw、catch之后开始传球比赛,使用刚才两球特征预测比赛结果。比赛结束后引出easy、difficult

八,课后反思(手写)

在新授部分,我请同学帮助在黑板上画出了a basketball and a ping-pong ball. 并请同学描述。孩子们能说出篮球大,乒乓球小。然后我画了一个天平在两个球下边,并请同学猜测那个球上去?那个球下来?学生能说出the basketball goes down, the ping-pong ball goes up. 然后我请同学分析原因,引出“heavy、light”

然后我请学过篮球的同学教同学们“throw、catch”基本动作,同学们边做边说,兴趣高涨。然后我有请同学进行一个比赛,10秒之内男女生分别throw and catch a basketball and a ping-pong ball,比赛哪个组传的多,先让同学预测结果并说原因,多数孩子能猜出传篮球的小组获胜,因为篮球大,重,乒乓球太小,太轻。预测后我们进行比赛,发现篮球传了10多人,而乒乓球才传了4、5人。第二次交换球传,实践证明篮球组又胜了。所以得出结论,接、投篮球比较容易easy,乒乓球难difficult。

在真实的活动、预测、比赛实验中层层递进,学生很有兴趣地使用刚刚学过的知识。并且做到了在真实的情境中用中学,学中用。
