1. 学生能够运用寻读和跳读的阅读策略，阅读文本，并快速获取文中信息。

2. 学生能够从文本和图片中获取一定信息，完成相关练习。

3. 学生能够在老师的引导下，有感情的朗读课文，并注重自己的语音语调。

学生能够意识到不同的国家会使用不同的货币，了解中外文化的差异。

教学过程

一. Class Opening Greeting. Tell Ss here is a surprise hidden in the box. 二. New Concepts 1. Ask : What will Li Ming do next week? How? 2. Play a guessing game. What does Li Ming want to buy for his family?

3. Listen and tick.

1) What gifts does Li Ming want to buy? 2) How many gifts does Li Ming need? 4. Read silently and finish the chart 5. Talk and check your answer. 1) Share the tips. 2) Who will Li Ming give the toy to? 3) How many gifts does Li Ming need? 6. Read after the tape. 1)

Does Li Ming buy a gift for Jenny. 2)

Teach ss how to read sentence emotionally. 7. Make a dialogue.

Ask. What do you want to buy for your friend/teachers.

T: After two month, we will go to the middle school. We will say goodbye to each other. Do you want to buy some gifts for your friend/teachers? What do you want to buy? S1,2,3… answers.

1) Show the gifts at the shop. 2) Work in pairs to practice. 3) Show your dialogue and other students take notes. 4) Share the notes. 5) Show the surprise and share some sentences.
