《普通高中英语课程标准》对高一学生应达到的七级语言技能“听”的目标要求是：能识别语段中的重要信息并进行简单的推断；能听懂操作性指令，并能根据要求和指令完成任务；能听懂正常语速听力材料中对人和物的描写、情节发展及结果；能听懂有关熟悉话题的谈话并能抓住要点；能听懂熟悉话题的内容，识别不同语气所表达的不同态度；能听懂一般场合的信息广播，例如：天气预报。“说”的目标要求是：能在日常交际中对一般的询问和要求做出恰当的反应；能根据熟悉的话题，稍做准备后，有条理地做简短的发言；能就一般性话题进行讨论；能根据话题要求与人交流、合作，共同完成任务；能用恰当的语调和节奏表达意图。

教材分析

本单元的中心话题是“野生动植物保护”，以戴茜的梦为切入点，介绍了保护野生动物的原因、野生动物保护的例子和野生动物对人类的贡献。本单元阅读文本在篇幅、生词量和理解难度上较前几单元有所加大，是一篇适合提升学生精度能力的文章。此外，在“十九大”报告中，***提出要保护中国的自然资源，“绿水青山就是金山银山”，做好自然资源的

保护，利于人类的发展，利于中国的进步。所以这个话题极具时代性和现实意义。

学情分析

按《新课程标准》要求，高一学生应积累2000多个单词、短语和搭配，基本掌握略读、寻读、细读和猜词等阅读方法。但事实上，所授班级学生英语基础较差，词汇积累量极少，通过略读方式快速掌握文章大意基本不大可能，自主通过细读来理清文章结构和细节更是困难。
