Attributive Clause Analysis of the teaching material

This teaching period mainly deals with attributive clause. How to let the students master the usage in an easy way is what I am always striving for. I try to let students get enough training through exercises in the form of multiple choices and make some sentences to describe something that students are interested in. Analysis of the students Students in Senior Grade 1 have already basically mastered the usage of attributive clause, so exercises are needed to test their understanding of the grammar. So in this class, I present nearly 20 exercises concerning the grammar point so as to let students fully trained in this field of knowledge. Students often find it boring and difficult to learn attributive clause, so it is necessary to make the class interesting by connecting the class with something they are interested in or something they are familiar with.

Step Ⅳ

Presentation Play a game Ask the students to work in pairs. One student describes a picture using the attributive clause we have learned, and the other student who can’t see the picture guesses it out. Ask one pair of students come to the blackboard to present their guessing game. Step V

Reflection From this lesson, I believe that the students can master the usage of attributive clause much better. They made mistakes sometimes, so after class reading more materials concerning this grammar point are still needed, and exercises are also necessary.
