The news:

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Here’s the news about the children.

Because of the weather, a lot of children have a cold. Some of them have a cough and a fever. Some of them have a sore throat and a headache. They don’t want to eat or drink anything. Their parents are worried. They take their children to see the doctor. The doctor says in order to prevent cold we’d better drink more water. We’d better have a good rest and air the room.

Doctor: Hello, Alice. What’s the matter with you? How do you feel?

Alice: I have a sore throat and a headache. I don’t want to eat or drink.

Doctor: Open your mouth and let me have a look. Say “Ah…”.

Alice: Ah…

Doctor: You have a bad cold. You should take some medicine. Alice: I see. What else should I do? Doctor: You should have a good rest. You should air the room.
