Period 1: I ’m the star.
【教材及学情分析】
牛津英语1A M2U1以“My abilities”为主题,围绕
“Abilities”展开学习活动。对于“Abilities”这一课,一年级学生来说会有困难,由于他们接触英语只有短短的一个月,因此在设计时,我们围绕本堂课的主题My abilities,分别创编了单课话题:I ’m the star.
和what can you do? 第一课时中,创设了情景Who is the star?让Eddie, Alice,
Kitty和Ben他们分别说说自己有什么特长和本领,在情景中学习I can,理解read, draw, sing, dance的音、形、义。
在第二课时中,延续上一课的情景,拓展句型what can you do?和四个动词短语read a book, sing a song, dance cha-cha-cha, draw a house。鼓励学生用上节课所学的句型I can进行能力才艺展示,同时课后,要求学生通过寻找信息,询问同学,好友,老师:What can you do?介绍并且熟悉了解身边人,和身边的同学成为好朋友,了解别人的才能,向别人学习。
动作性的单词,可以让孩子们边做动作边学,所以对于一(4)班的学生来说,应该还是不难的。面对部分零起点的学生,可以让孩子们在做中学,逐渐掌握这些单词。对于有些学生,在掌握这些单词的基础上,可以鼓励孩子多运用这些单词和句子,表达自己会做些什么。
【单元教学目标】
知识与技能:
1、学习单词dance,read,sing,draw的音、形、义。并能识读四个单词对应的词组:read a book, sing a song, dance cha-cha-cha, draw a house。
2、能听懂并会说句型:I can…,能用I can介绍与展示自己的才能与本领。
3、能使用问句What can you do?来了解一个人的能力信息,并进行实际问题的回答I can… 。

过程与方法:
1、能用英语表示动作:dance,read,sing,draw 2、学会用情态动词来表达能力I can read/sing/draw/dance,理解问句What can you do?的意思,并作出相应回答。
情感、态度与价值观:
学生通过介绍与展示自己的才能与本领,培养自己的自信心。通过熟悉了解别人的才能,向别人学习,和身边的同学成为好朋友。

【教学目标】
1、学习单词dance,read,sing,draw的音、形、义。

【教学重点】
能区分read, sing, draw, dance的发音,会用I can…表达自己会做的事情。【教学难点】
用情态动词can来表达自己的能力。

一、Pre-task preparation T: First, let’s play a guessing game. Who is he? (Eddie)

T: Let’s enjoy a song about Eddie. Song T:
Eddie can draw a lot of things! So, he thinks he is the star. Do you think so?
T: I think Eddie is very good. Eddie is the star.(Read after me.) Who is the star in our class? For example, I think Allen is very good. So I can say: Allen is very good. Allen is the star. What’s your opinion?(接龙) (教学策略:通过Eddie会画画引入star的概念,为下文做铺垫。) T: If you think you are the star, you can say: I’m the star. Please say it aloud.
(教学策略:通过谈谈自己的同学,激发学生对话题的兴趣,为情境导入作铺垫。)
二、While-task procedure Task 1: Listen and understand who are they? T: Eddie can draw. He thinks he is the star. So do his friends.
