课时的教学对象为四年级上学期的学生。学生在二年级时已学习过如何询问天气，并且已掌握常见天气的表达。但对于在不同的天气情况下从事的相应活动还没有涉及，同时相关语言在真实情境中交际性还有待提高。本课教学设计遵循英语的应用性原则，为学生创设相应的场景，让学生自由交流，灵活运用。

1. 能够在此话题的相关语境中，听懂、会说、认读，并正确书写单词windy, rainy, snowy

2. 能询问天气并根据真实情境进行作答：-How’s the weather today? –It’s…并能简单举例出在不同天气可以从事的相关活动。

3. 能够在具体语境下，理解常见的动词短语的意义和用法，并进行实际运用。例如jump in the puddles, fly a kite, roll snowballs等。
