史密斯先生、Jenny和李明的图片，盒子及瓶子。

教学过程：

Step 1: Review and lead-in 1. Students go to the front to role play Lesson 5.

Teacher acts Mr. Smith first, to encourage students to recite the text. 2. Find another group of students to act out the story. 3. Yell for those who dare to role play the text on the front. 4. Teacher show the PPT. Students look at the video to say what sport it is. 5. Teacher says, today, I will tell you a story about football. Step 2: New concepts 1. Teacher displays the PPT and recites the story sentence by sentence and acts it out when necessary. e.g.: I. There was a boy from a poor family. poor: Not rich, having no money. II. Coach: Teacher. When the coach saw the boy, the boy was playing football by using boxes and bottles. So, he thought the boy would be a good football player when he grew up. II. The boy player football harder. The boy played football in the morning. The boy played football in the afternoon. The boy played football in the evening. III. Music for Christmas. IV. Act out dig.

2. Students read the text themselves and find out new words. 3. Teacher displays the movie. Students listen and find out the new words. 4. Teacher displays again. Students read following the tape silently. 5. Teacher read the text. Students read following the teacher. Teacher emphasizes the emotional value. I. He used boxes and bottles as his footballs. He never gave up his dream because of being poor. II. At Christmas time, the boys wanted to do something for the kind coach. He never forgot about being thankful due to being poor. 6. Exercise: Match. Find the correct sentence for the picture. I. Students do it themselves. II. Students discuss questions between each other. III. Teacher finds students to say the answer, and yell for those who answer questions right. 7. Try to tell the story out in English according to pictures given. 8. Answer questions: What can you learn from the story of

Pele? Think, discuss and answer. You can speak Chinese, if you cannot speak it in English. Step 3: Conclusion There is a proverb for you: Every dog has its day. Pele’s story from a poor boy to be the king of football player tells us that we should work hard no matter how poor we are. I hope you can learn from him. 课后反思：

每篇课文我都坚持背诵会再进教室，再给学生讲授，以给学生树立一个好的榜样，让他们看出在努力的不只有他们，还有老师，而在自己背诵的过程中，教学方法及一些灵感会不自觉得浮现于脑海，这是个神奇的过程。

本篇课文是本单元的最后一课，只要学生能在轻松的课堂中了解故事梗概，会给所提供的句子排序，能从小故事中学会一些简单的道理，教学目标也就达到了。

本堂课的不足：

一、

由于紧张，忘记写板书，很遗憾。

二、

纵然提供了动态PPT，但孩子们还是接受不了全英教学，因为课堂反应不是特别理想，所以我掺进了一些汉语。以后应锻炼孩子们的听力。

三、

习题设计不充分，应再出一道排序题。
