1．知识和技能目标

（1）

词汇：掌握tradition, bad luck, paint, mean, decorate, decoration, paper cut, everyone, haircut, give, dumping, sweet, fireworks, few, a few, want, week, round, all the year round, bring,

colour , something, cut, Christmas等词语，

并围绕节日话题，运用所学词语来讲述中国人过春节的习俗，以及西方重要节日---圣诞节的一些习俗。

语法：现在进行时的问与答，一般现在时。

技能：能读懂有关节日描述的短文，并能将段落与图片、段落与问题匹配；

学会写要点和句子；能向人们介绍春节或其他中外节日。

2．情感目标：深入了解中国的传统文化与习俗，了解英语国家重要节日，乐于参与相关英语实践活动。

3．教学重点和难点

运用文章中的重要词语、语段描述春节；用书中所给信息介绍圣诞节。

4.教学内容分析; 本模块以节日为话题，通过听读有关春节内容的对话和短文，使学生能够谈论或写出对该节日的介绍，并鼓励学生英语国家中重要的节假日极其主要庆祝方式。本模块的学习策略主要是通过词汇分类来帮助学生提高学习效率，形成自主学习的能力，为学生的终身学习奠定基础。

三、教学过程

Step 1. Warming- up 活动：free talk in pairs 设计意图：引出主题

Step 2. Reading 活动1：Match the pictures with the paragraphs. S: Do it individually and then check it in pairs.

T: Call back the answers from the whole class. 设计意图：辨认信息，抓住主要信息与图片的匹配，理解文章大意。

活动2：complete the table T: Read the passage again and try to find the important information. Put them in the proper blanks ( using word or phrases). Time

S: Do it silently and then check in groups. 设计意图：对文章中重要信息进行归类，培养学生记忆单词的学习策略，并为下一步描述春节做准备工作。

活动3：read and answer questions S: Read the passage after the tape, then answer the questions in Activity 4. T: get the students to discuss the questions in groups, then call back the answers from the whole class. Make sure the students know all the words in the box in Activity 4. 设计意图：1、模仿地道的语音、语调。

2、学习生词，扫清词汇障碍。

设计意图: 通过文本及视频更多的了解圣诞节的情况，更深刻理解一些传统节日对人们的意义。
