指导思想：外语教学的最终目标是培养学生具备运用外语进行交际的能力，这也正是学生学习外语的目的所在。教语言，更要教语言之外的思维、文化、价值判断等。基于这一思想，本节课运用任务型教学方式，积极开展小组课堂活动，引导学生多思考多写多说，提高学生的语言综合运用能力。

理论依据：遵循“优化学习方式，提高自主学习能力”的基本理念，引导学生有意识地、系统地探索客观事实、真实情感、价值观念等，发现、了解、建构知识，充分发挥学习潜能，从而通过口语与写作教学，对学生进行思维方法训练，拓宽学生的写作思路。

教学背景分析

课型描述：本节课主要糅合了两种语言技能——说和写，通过展示图片和播放视频的方式，引导学生思考和讨论一些珍稀野生动物濒临灭绝的原因以及如何采取具体行动保护野生动物，从而进一步意识到保护野生动物的重要性和紧迫性。在说和写的语言技能训练中，使学生领会语言信息的输入和输出，通过合作学习的方式来练习英语写作，使学生的综合语言运用能力得到进一步加强。

学生情况分析：本节课的授课对象是梧州市第一中学高一1班的学生，共60人。本班学生思维活跃，英语学习热情高，口语表达能力较强，课堂上积极参与活动，但是英语水平参差不齐，有一部分部分学生口语表达能力较弱,甚少开口说英语。

话题熟悉度：在认知方面，学生们对本文的话题“wildlife protection”比较熟悉，此话题能与学生生活经历联系在一起，因此学生对此话题有一定的兴趣。

语言技能基础：在语言能力方面，经过差不多四个月的高中英语学习，他们已经积累了一定的语言知识，并且在本单元前面的学习中，他们已经学习了一些与动物或动物保护有关的词汇，这都为本节课的口语表达及写作做了很好的铺垫。

学习困难预设：本课在学生思考和讨论珍稀野生动物濒临灭绝的原因和保护措施时，可能只能考虑到其中的一两个方面，这就需要老师进一步引导学生能够进行全面地讨论。本课同时存在一些词汇障碍，如在表达野生动物濒临灭绝的原因时，学生可能未能运用over-hunt, destroy, threaten等词汇组织语言，这有可能导致学生无法顺利地表达出自己的想法，但是学生也可以用已学过的简单词汇和句式表达出来，因此如何引导学生进行全面的思考、讨论并顺利地表达自己的观点是这一课的难点。

【Stage 2设计说明】展示广西本土野生珍稀动物的图片，能让学生了解到人类在保护野生动物中所起到的作用,启发学生采取措施保护野生动物。教师点评学生的观点，并让他们改正他们的语法、拼写错误，同时提供写作模板，能够让学生更容易组合他们的观点，将自己的想法流利顺畅地表达出来，写出结构完整的文章。写后通过展示的方式检查学生的完成情况，更能了解他们的学习效果。

【评价方式】

本课的学习效果评价方式分为课堂展示和课后作业两部分。

1. 课堂展示

在本节课的speaking活动中，让学生根据视频展开讨论，并让学生发挥自己的想象力，分小组讨论珍稀野生动物濒临灭绝的原因，激发学生的兴趣，使他们乐于开口说英语。Speaking后的产出活动，让同桌之间讨论并写出保护野生动物的措施，之后根据模板完成一篇小作文，既锻炼了学生的语言运用能力，也使他们进一步意识到保护野生动物的重要性和紧迫性。

2. 课后作业

本节课的课后作业是要求学生综合运用课堂上学到的知识，完成进一步的写作，并让学生相互检查，发现错误，相互学习，以此来检测本节课的教学效果和学生的学习效果。

【评价量规】

本课的学习效果评价量规分为课堂展示量规和课后作业量规两部分。

1. 课堂展示量规

主要考查学生是否能够正确表达观点以及学习写作。

2. 课后作业量规

主要考查学生是否能够正确表达观点，意识到野生动物的生存现状以及保护野生动物的重要性和紧迫性。
