本课时是人教版必修2 Unit 4 Wildlife Protection 中Reading “How Daisy Learned To Help Wildlife” 的第一课时。本微课的目的是读前处理跟课文有关的词汇及短语。本单元的中心话题是“野生动物保护”。本文描述了Daisy在梦中经历的一次飞毯旅行。通过女孩和藏羚羊、非洲象和猴子的对话，学生进一步意识到野生动物的生存环境日益恶化以及保护野生动物的行动刻不容缓。

为了帮助达成本节阅读课的目的、使学生在随后的阅读过程中更好地理解课文，本微课从谈论课文中涉及到的有关野生动物的词汇、短语和句子入手去把握阅读材料的内容与语言，希望在学完单词后可以帮助同学们从read the line---- 理解文本的含义到read between the lines---- 品味字里行间的意义，再到

read beyond the line----理解字里行间的言外之意、进而体会文本的全部意义。

阅读教学中我对词汇的处理一般遵循三个原则1.选择性：即在仔细研读文本的基础上确定了本节课中哪些核心词汇是必须让学生理解的，这样能确定词汇教学的重点。2.适时性：即确定所要教授的词汇哪些在读前教、哪些在读中教。与主题密切相关的词汇及影响学生理解的词汇在读前渗透。例如：carpet, antelope, endangered ,millipede , mosquito等。与内容理解相关、挖掘文本深层含义的，如mercy, burst into laughter等, 可以放到读中教。3. 语境性：即把单词融入到适当的语境中，以语境为载体既可以让学生领悟到该词汇的使用场景，又可以让词汇学习变得生动，以求达到承上启下、温故知新的目的。

本微课旨在处理一些需要在阅读课前教学生掌握的重点词汇。词汇的记忆向来是令学生头疼的问题之一。本节课努力在轻松愉快的情况下完成教学任务。为了帮助学生有效地记忆词汇及短语，充分挖掘学生的学习潜能，教师把单词融入到生动的语境中去教，努力践行新课标高中英语教学原则：Tell me, I will forget. Show me, I will remember. Involve me, I will learn .

asks some questions on the topic to lead in, and then teaches some new words and phrases. The students answer the questions and learn. 说反思：

参加这次的微课教研活动，使我收到了许多的教益。现在我主要谈一谈以下两点感受：

1）.由于第一次参加微课活动，所以不知道该讲多长时间算合适，只是看了些关于微课的说明变动手操作了。不妥之处敬请专家老师多多指点。

2）.本节课的设计，我想尝试把单词融入到适当的语境中、以语境为载体，让学生既领悟到该词汇的使用场景，又可以让词汇学习变得生动，以求达到承上启下的目的,但不知英语微课可不可以进行词汇教学，所以内心感到有点没把握。
