【Analysis of the students】

The students,from Class 4 Senior 1,are art students.Most of them are active and creative but they are poor in English learning. They think it hard and boring to study English Esp when they have an grammar class and they also have many problems in using grammar knowledge. 【Analysis of the material】

The Grammar part is aimed to lead the Ss to master the usage of the gerund as subject or object and some related exercises are designed to consolidate the key items.But I only chose one---- The Gerund used as subject,for it is much easier for my students. 【Teaching Aims】

At the end of the class, the Ss will be able to Knowledge aim: Know the various forms of the gerund and learn to use the gerund as subject correctly and freely. Ability aim:

谓语动词通常用单数。
