Lesson 9 Eat More Vegetables and Fruit!

一、教学分析
1.学生分析
六年级的学生思维活跃,他们喜欢和同学、老师交流一些与他们生活密切相关的话题,敢于用英语表达,在学习本课之前学生已经掌握频率副词的语言知识,以及有关蔬菜、水果的词汇和相关的表达喜好的语言知识,具备了一定的听说读写能力,学生能够在学习中积极思考、主动参与,进行小组活动并积极交流。
2. 教材分析
本单元的题目是“Good Healthy to You”,重点讨论有关健康和如何保持健康的话题。单元围绕着Mr. Wood与Li Ming, Danny和Jenny谈论他们的生活习惯展开。
本课的情境是Mr. Wood和Danny谈论饮食习惯,并建议Danny多吃水果蔬菜,Danny接受了建议。在此情境下,结合日常生活谈论健康饮食话题,使学生了解健康饮食的重要性,学生能在真实语境中运用How often do you eat...?进行问答,并提出健康饮食建议进行交流,以养成良好的日常饮食习惯。
二、教学目标分析
1.知识与技能目标:
(1)学生能在真实语境中听懂、会说、认读和理解运用How often do you eat…? 进行问答。
(2)学生能根据意群朗读,能听懂、会说、认读和仿写句型You need to eat more…
(3) 学生能在图片和文字信息的帮助下,提出健康饮食的建议。
2.学习策略目标:
(1)能提炼文本对话中的信息,能对不同饮食习惯的好坏有自己的判断。
(2)能在真实语言情境中,积极运用所学语言与他人合作完成学习任务。
3.情感态度目标:
能使学生意识到健康饮食和良好饮食习惯的重要性。
三、教学重难点分析
教学重难点:
1.学生能理解运用句型How often do you eat…?并流利的问答。
2.学生能在真实的语境中互相询问饮食习惯,并提出健康饮食的建议。

五、教学过程设计
Step1:Warm-up
课前播放健康歌,引出健康话题,同时鼓励学生想一想、说一说如何保持健康,激活学生已有的生活经验和语言储备,导入课题,并激发学生学习和表达的欲望。
1.Greeting.
Good morning, boys and girls! How are you today?
T: Music can make us healthy, just now, we’ve listened a song, the healthy song, look at these boys, how do you think about them? Yes, they are healthy. Do you want to be healthy? What can make us healthy and strong? What can we do?
S1: Play sports.
T: Right! Do you like to play sports? What sports do you play?
S2: Always have breakfast.
T: Do you always have breakfast? What food do you like for breakfast?
S3: Eat food.
T: Yes, foods make us healthy and strong. Today, we are going to talk about the healthy food. Foods give us energy. What food do you like?
Now, let’s watch a short chant, do you like these foods?
T: What food do you like? What’s your favourite food?
Ss: I like… my favorite food is…
T: meat, eggs, fish make our bodies strong, drink milk every day, you will be fresh, vegetables and fruits can make us active, they are good for us. So do you like vegetables and fruits? How often do you eat vegetables and fruits?
【设计意图】师生就健康话题进行自然交流,感知健康生活概念,使学生思考保持健康的因素,激活图式,建构健康理念,为接下来的学习做铺垫。
Step2:Presentation
课件呈现文本情境,学生带着问题听录音,初步感知对话情节,了解对话的内容;在接
下来的阅读中进一步体会对话中的新语言,提取文本信息,理解所学的新语言知识,为学生
进行语言应用情景的创设做好铺垫。
1.listen and answer
T: Danny likes eating, how about Danny? How often does he eat vegetables and fruits? Listen and answer.
2.Read picture1 to picture3, and find the answer: does Danny like vegetables and fruits? Does he often eat vegetables? What’s his favorite food? How do you know that? Do you think donuts are good for your health?
【设计意图】从表层到深层次的提问引发同学们对Danny的饮食习惯的思考,感悟文本内容,分析、评价文本人物的饮食习惯,提高学生的思维品质的同时适时进行情感渗透。
T:Now let’s talk about the chart, look at these numbers, Danny eats veggie twice a week, there are 52weeks in a year, so he eats veggie 104 times a year. And he eats fruits 156 times a year. How about donuts, he eats twice a day, 14 times a week, and 730 times a year! This number is scared us! Let’s think, do you think Danny will be healthy? What does he eat more? Why? So, what do you want to say to him? Do you have any suggestions?
Ss; Eat more vegetables and fruits…don’t eat donuts too much.
【设计意图】通过讨论Danny一年中吃蔬菜、水果和面包圈的次数,以及这些食物对Danny 的身体的好坏,不仅引起学生的兴趣,还引起学生积极的思维和想象。学生们能自觉地意识到哪些食物对自己的身体有好处,而哪些食物对自己的身体没有好处,从而培养学生良好的饮食习惯。
3.Listen picture4
What does Mr. Wood say to Danny? Do we have the same suggestions? What does Danny think about? What does he say? He also gives us a healthy suggestion, what is it? An apple a day, keeps the doctor away.What’s the meaning? Can you read this word? Please listen and imitate.
【设计意图】通过问题Do we have the same suggestions?将学生的已有知识与文本内容相关联,构建新知识,同时激发学生的求知欲,更加积极投入学习中。
4.Read in role.
T:Now, open your books, try to read the part 1, and also you can read in role.
【设计意图】让学生一边朗读一边模仿其中的人物的表情、动作,感受朗读技巧,体会英语韵律的美,使学生对文本内容的理解更加深入,并进一步熟悉人物的语言,巩固所学语言知识,为下一步创造性思维拓展练习活动打下良好的语言基础。
Step3:practice
1.Let’s make a chart
T:Boys and girls, what do you like to eat? What’s your favorite food? And how often do you eat veggie? Please talk to your partners and finish the chart in your books.
【设计意图】
利用课本Part 2 Let’s do it!的表格,学生小组活动,完成小调查。之后,请学生根据调查结果来进行会话“What do you like to eat? What’s your favourite food? How often do you eat?”并提出健康饮食建议。通过真实调查自己身边同学的饮食习惯来操练所学语言,相互交流思想,解决文本重难点,自主巩固所学。
2.Let’s talk
T: Eating food is very important to our bodies. Look at this picture, let’s talk about the suggestions of healthy diet. What food should we eat more, and which food should we not eat too much? For example, we have three meals a day, we need to eat rice, noodles, bread and so on for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What else, can you talk about food in the picture like this? First, let’s talk about it in your group.
【设计意图】利用书中Part2部分的健康膳食表来谈论生活中健康饮食话题,使学生树立饮食健康意识。在活动中关注学生语言表达的同时重点训练学生读图的能力,并为下一环节----笔头写作做好铺垫。
