V. Teaching steps and methods: Step I.Warm up 1.Greeting.

2. Review the phrases and sentences: Eg:①phrases:doing (homework)/tidying(room)/listening(to the radio)...

②sentences:He/She is/isn’t reading a book. Step II.lead in and presentation

1.lead-in :Wow! You did a good job! Let’s enjoy some music:Are you sleeping? 2. Presentation: Q1:T: What is Amy doing? look and answer.

Ss: Amy is drawing a picture. Q2:What is Amy drawing?

Ss: Flowers. (Look at the picture and answer.)

Listen and repeat “ She’s drawing a picture of flowers.” The students say this sentence line by line.

The teacher asks“Are you drawing a picture of apples?”

“Are you drawing a picture of flowers?”

“Are you doing your Chinese/English/Maths homework?”

The teacher has the boys play A and girls play B. Step III. Practice: 1.Listen and repeat the dialogue.

Read the dialogue together.
