I. Instructional objectives 1. At the end of the lesson, Ss will have a better understanding of the object clause. Then students will grasp the usage of introductory words, the tense and word order, etc. 2. Students will be able to use different conjunctions and use the grammar to solve the problem. 3. Students will be more interested in learning grammar. II. Teaching important points

Explain the three important aspects of the object clause: the introductory words, tense and sentence order.

III. Teaching difficult points How to choose the introductory words correctly and appropriately in the object clause. IV. Teaching methods

Combine the inductive method with the deductive method.

VI. Teaching procedures Step 1 Greetings as usual（1min）

Greet the whole class as usual. Step 2 Lead in (5minutes) Enjoy a video to lead in the object clause. First, ask students to enjoy the video and then to pick out the object clause in the video and translate them.

Step 3 Presentation (20minutes) 1. Position 1.) Show some sentences on the screen and ask students to pick out the object clause. Eg.1. .I know his father works on a farm. 2. Could you tell me how I can get to the station? 3.I wasn’t sure if they would be able to buy another car.
