To learn to use the words in a passage according the context and grammar rules as well. 4.To discover the structure of restrictive and non- restrictive clauses and learn to use the non- restrictive clauses.

Students are not accustomed to explain the meaning of an English word or phrase by

usingEnglish. They may also find it difficult to use the the right word and its correct form in a passage. What’s more, they may find it even more difficult to use restrictive clause.

Teaching important point: let students to use restrictive and non- restrictive clauses. Teaching difficult point: let students understand the way of choosing the right word in a passage and the right relative pronouns in the restrictive clauses

Lead in

Let students say something about the Amber Room according to the key words in the table.

In this case, some keys words are used as a revision.

活动2【讲授】Revision Have the key words and phrases divided into four catalogues: n/v/adj/phrases. Then have them read each words twice, making them aware of the part speech of words.
