教学目标

1． 听懂会说新词an old man, help the old people on the road, make tea, make cakes, clean their homes, make them happy, weak, slow，理解单词himself, free, Ms 2．能用句型“What can I do?”和“I can......”提供帮助。

3．理解本课内容，培养学生助人为乐的精神。

教学重难点

重点：理解会说本课的对话。

难点：运用句型“What can I do?”寻求帮助。

教学准备

图片，单词卡片，教学光碟和多媒体。

教学过程

Step one Warning up 1．Have a greeting. 2．Talk freely. Step two Presentation and drill 1．出示make cakes的

图片，Say: Look at my card, What’s this? Ss:Make cakes,T: Yes, mother is making cakes.板书make cakes，利用动作帮助学生理解意思，带读。

2．T: Mother is making cakes, What can I do? Can you tell me?句型“What can I do?”帮助学生理解意思，带读。让学生回答我应该怎么办。把学生的回答板书在黑板上。

T: I can make tea for her. sing to her. clean the house help an old woman on the road. 3．分组操练句型“What can I do?”。

4．游戏——Let’s quick response 老师快速出示单词卡片，学生快速认读，分组练习，看那一组读的又快又准，然后个别练习认读单词。

5. 播放 B 部分的单词，学生听，掌握单词的发音，跟读单词。

Step three Reading 1．学生快速阅读A部分的内容，回答问题。

What can Jane/Lingling/Anne/Peter do? 2．播放A部分的光碟，模仿正确的语音和语调，掌握新词难句的读法。

3．精读A部分，帮助学生理解意思，分组完成C部分的练习。

4．带读C部分。

Step four Consolidations 1．分角色表演A部分的内容，叫表演好的一组上台表演。

2．评价。对学生的表现给予鼓励和肯定，激发他们的学习潜能，有一定的学习方法。

3．家庭作业。听磁带，背课文。

用英语表达自己遇到的问题并寻求帮助。

第二课时

教学目标

1．能准确运用句型“What can I do?”提供帮助。

2．巩固单词和词组an old man, help the old people on the road, make tea, make cakes, clean their homes, make them happy, weak, slow.掌握句型“What can I do?”。理解单词himself, free, Ms 3．提高学生的英语表达能力及。

4．培养学生遇到特殊情况的应变能力和互相帮助的良好习惯。

教学重难点

重点：能准确运用 can 的用法。

难点：理解部分课文。

教学准备

PPT课件，单词卡片，教学光碟等。

教学过程
