Teaching procedures: Step I Greeting and leading in Greet Ss, and Show Ss a picture about plums jam and ask Ss what it is and have them ever seen it or tasted it and what it like and how it tastes? Divide Ss into different groups and let them have a short discussion about it.

Step II Pre- listening You are going to listen to a funny story about jam. Before you listen, look at the exercises below. Try and predict the story. Tell your partner what you think will happen.
