设计意图

This is the last teaching peiod of this unit, aiming to help students get a basic knowledge of the grammar, the present progressive passive voice, in this unit.The emphasis of this period is mainly placed on understanding and using it. Therefore, teachers should create a relatively real context to present enough sentences for sudents to make them understand the definition of progressive passive voice.In the meantime, teachers should offer more opportunities for students to practice to make sure that students know how to make sentences using the present progressive passive voice.Exerceses designed ought to be simple and easy to operate, which is of great help to students’ ability. 教学重点

species Wendy Lee was a famous photographer and always photographed wild animals in their natural habitat. One day she drove her car into the local game reserve as

usual to hunt for some animals to photograph. After a while she saw some zebra with black and white lines going beneath their stomachs. “This must be a special specises of zebra,” thought Wendy. “I’ve never seen one like this before.” Suddenly the zebra looked up and moved away as quickly as they could. Wendy looked around and saw a powerful lion in the grass. She appreciated the danger, so she sounded her horn loudly until the lion turned and walked away. Wendy waited for several minutes to make sure the lion was not coming back.Then she gave a smile of relief.But soon her smile disappeared because she realized that in protecting the Zebra from the lion she had lost her best chance of taking some amazing photographs. (The present continuous passive voice) 表示“某人/事此时此刻正在被…”,主语是动作的承受者。

1.肯定形式：

am/is/are＋being＋过去分词

The house is being painted. 房子正在被粉刷。

2.否定形式:

am/is/are＋not＋being＋过去分词

The trees are not being watered. 3.疑问形式:

Am/Is/Are＋主语＋being＋过去分词？

Am I being watched over? 4.特殊疑问句的形式: 把特殊疑问词放在一般疑问句前面。

注意: 现在进行时被动语态与always;constantly;all the time

,等连用时,表示经常性的被动动作,此时往往带有赞赏或厌恶等感情色彩。

= The telephone is being used now. 3.Many new cars are on show. = Many new cars are being showed.

be+

under/in/on +n.也可以表示进行时的被动语态。

Ⅲ.1.You are wanted on the phone. 2.MP3 is becoming more and more popular.In other words,it is loved by more and more people. 注意: 有些表示“状态,心理活动,情感”等的动词,常用一般现在时的被动语态表示“正在进行”。
