Brainstorming. What do you usually do during your Spring Festivals？

Go back to our hometown.

Stay together with our family. Clean rooms and clothes completely. Make dumplings. Watch the Spring Festival Gala Paste couplets Paste Fu upside down Stick paper cuttings on windows. Give children lucky money. Wear new clothes. Visit relatives and friends. Eat dumplings and fish. Eat dinner together. Set off fireworks. 3.

Giving a score.

Ask students to give a score to his or her deskmate’s letter according to the writing criteria. Meanwhile underline beautiful sentences using red pens. （Writing criteria is shown on the PPT.）

Presentation. Ask students to show their own or their deskmate’s beautiful sentences. 6.

Reflection As time is limited, only 12 minutes were left to students for their writing. If given more time, they will do better. For the same reason, some students can’t present their beautiful sentences.
