Unit 4 Lesson 1 Hobbies
一、教材内容分析
本课时的教学内容为新起点英语四年级下册第四单元的第一课时,A部分借助对话录音和图片呈现八个目标词汇:hobby, reading,singing, dancing, skateboarding,collecting erasers,描述兴趣爱好的单词和短语;通过让学生看、听、说、做等途径来感受并学习这些词汇。B部分通过“Snow-ball”游戏,帮助学生操练词汇,并体会词汇在交际情景中的运用。C部分为让学生根据自己的兴趣爱好,选择本课所学词汇或运用已学词汇完成句子填空,同时强化良好的英文书写习惯。
二、学生情况分析
学生通过前三年中Playtime、After school Activities、Family Activities、Sports and Game、On the Weekend以及My Travel Plan多个单元的学习,已经掌握了一些动词词汇。为这节课的顺利学习打下基础。
三、教学目标
通过本节课的学习,学生能够达到以下目标:
1. 能够听懂、会说hobby, reading,
singing, dancing, skateboarding, collecting erasers等描述兴趣爱好的单词和短语;能够根据语境恰当使用它们,并能借助拼读规律认读并识记单词和短语。
2. 能够用I like … 初步表达自己的兴趣爱好。
3. 能够根据自己的兴趣爱好,选择本课所学词汇或运用已学词汇完成句子填空,同时强化良好的英文书写习惯。
4. 能够通过课堂交流,了解兴趣爱好因人而异,不尽相同。
四、教学重难点
教学重点:能够听懂、会说
hobby, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, singing, dancing, skateboarding, making models, collecting erasers等描述兴趣爱好的单词和短语;能够根据语境恰当使用它们。
教学难点:能够用I like +doing sth.初步表达自己的兴趣爱好。
五、Teaching steps(教学步骤) Step1. 热身(听一听,唱一唱)
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning. T: Nice to meet you! My family name is Yang. So you can call me Miss Yang. Hello!boys and girls. S:Hello! Miss Yang. T:Today we will devide into two teams. Hello,T1! Hello,T2! Are you ready!

一、单词教学
(1)教学hobbies及reading
T: Boys and girs.Do you like swimming?.Do you like riding a bike? If you like , we can say it’s my “hobby”.Today we are going to talk about hobby.(点击课件,出现hobby)Can you read this word?(利用hot和baby辅助教读)
Look! Who is she ?(点击课件)
Ss: 学生试着拼读hobby T:
(点击课件,出现相应读音)
T: I like swimming and riding a bike.so swimming and riding a bike are my hobbies, hobbies.(利用红色粉笔演示单数变复数的过程)
Ss: hobbies T: What is Lily’s hobby?(点击课件,出现Lily读书画面)
Ss: reading .T: Do you like reading? Ss: Yes. T:So we can say I like reading.
Reading books is a good habit. I hope you read books everyday. (2)教学singing and dancing T: Lily likes reading. What about Joy?(点击课件,出现Joy唱歌和跳舞图片)
Ss: Joy likes singing and dancing. T: Joy can sing and dance.(点击课件,出现sing and dance)Joy likes singing and dancing.(点击课件,出现singing and dancing)What can you find? S: dance去掉末尾的e再加ing. T: Great! Do you like singing? Do you like dancing? Ss: Yes. / No.
(3)教学skateboarding T: This is a blackboard.(手指黑板)Look!This is a board, too.
Binbin can skate on the board. This is a skateboard. Binbin likes skateboarding. Ss: Binbin likes skateboarding. T: Do you like skateboarding? Ss: Yes. / No. (4)教学collecting erasers T: What are these?(点击课件)
Ss: They are erasers. T: Mike likes collecting erasers. Ss: Mike likes collecting erasers. T: What else can we collect?(扩展coins ,stamps.)
(5)Let’s play a game. 二、A.Look, listen and repeat T: Look at the picture! Let’s listen and tick.(点击课件)
Ss: 学生听音,画勾。班内校正,及时评价。

学生看课件,读句子。

学生两人一组练习,班内展示,及时评价。
学生两人一组看图说话。班内展示,及时评价。
