1．导入

Greeting.

3. 新授

Teaching Look at the picture

T: what’s this in the picture ? Ss: monkeys T: How many monkeys are there? Teaching “How many___ are there?”

（1）pair work Ask and answer in pairs according to the pictures.

（2）practice Complete the exercises. 4. Let’s chant the zoo is fun.

(1) Look at page 23 part 2. Go over the text and picture with the whole class. Read each number and the text aloud. Then, play the audiotape twice and listen closely for fun.
