Teaching aims: Knowledge aim: Students can understand 、recognize、and spell the following vocabulary：soup、rice、dumpling、noodle. The following sentence pattern“Would you like some……？/Yes,please.Or No,thanks.”

Ability aim: Understand the meaning of the sentence with the teacher’s help of pictures and gestures, and can use the sentences to express their feelings verbally. Understand and respond appropriately. Emotional aim: Through vivid pictures, stimulate student’s interest in learning, and cultivate students’participation in consciousness and collaboration. Key points: The vocabulary: soup、noodle、rice and dumpling. Difficult points: The sentence pattern “Would you like some……？”/Yes,please.Or No,thanks.

Teaching aids: Word cards and delicious food pictures Warming up: Greeting the class with“How are you？”and sing a song we have learned Before。

Lead-in Take a few minutes to review vocabulary and sentence from last lesson. Have a small guessing game to review.The rule is when I take some actions ,the students guess what am I doing. Presentation After the small game, tell the students that today we will continue learning about food and eating. Show a picture that contains some new delicious food on the table .Let’s students find the new words we will learn today.And then introduce the new delicious food “soup、rice、noodle、dumpling”.Let students think about why I explain the words in

this order.At last tell the truth,soup、rice are uncountable,but dumpling、noodle are countable. Read the new words loudly and explain the important letter’s prouncation. Now let’s go back to our today’s topic “Would you like some soup?” Explain that the Chinese meaning is “Do you want some soup?”

“If you want ,you can say: Yes, please. If you don’t, say: No, thanks.” Foreigner’s request and thanks are on the lips. We can’t lose please and thanks. Practice Have a small game about the new words ”Which one is missing?”and practice the new sentence pattern in group. Summary What is our today’s topic and what we have learned today? Homework Discuss with their parents what important days do we eat noodles and dumplings?

Teaching reflection: Course structure is unreasonable, no time for the students to practice listening. Practice time is too short so that the students can’t firmly grasp. I will adjust my course structure to a lesson on better.
