Step one: Warm-up. 1.

Greeting. Rhyme time -- “Open the window”.

Step two: Lead-in. 1.

Play a game -- Magic eyes.

If you see a phrase or a sentence, please read it out;

If you see a tiger, please shout “Ahh”! Study “shout”; 2.

Look and say.

We can shout when we are afraid. But we can’t shout in the library. Study “in the library” and “Don’t ...”;

Step three: Story time. 1.

Look and think.

Show Ss two pictures of Liu Tao.

Q: Liu Tao is very happy at first. Why does he say sorry at last? 2.

Watch and tick. a.

Watch Story time; b.

Tick out: What does Liu Tao do in the library? Study “run”, “eat”, “talk”, “sleep” and “drink”; 3.

Read and find.

Find out: What does Yang Ling say to Liu Tao? Study “Shh!” and “Don’t shout / run / eat / talk/ sleep.”

Step five: Summary.

1: We can say “Don’t ...” when we stop someone doing something.
