Warming-up. Let’s sing a song together!
Lead in. 1>
Greeting. T: How beautiful the song is! You sing the song very well. Are
you good at singing? Who loves singing? Put up your hand. Ss: I love singing. T: Great. Why do you love singing? Ss: I love singing because it makes me happy. T: Great. Singing is his hobby. What’s your hobby? Ss: My hobby is reading. T: You love reading. Why? Ss: I love reading because reading is fun, and I love to read stories. T: Different people have diffferent hobbies. Boys, Do you love sports? Ss: Yes, we do. 2>
Look and guess. T: I love sport, too. Today I take some sport things to our classroom. There is something I need for this sport. You look at my bags and tell me what sport it is. Ss: (take out it and say) It’s water. T: Do you want to try again? Ss: Is it flashlight? T: yeah. It is flashlight. When I do this sport, I always take them. (Show the picture) what are they? Listen and Answer. T: What is hiking? Let’s listen to the story; you try to find the answer. Ss: Hiking is a long walk.

Read the dialogue in pairs and try to use the question words on the blackboard to ask questions. T: What is your question? Ss: My question is “why do you love hiking”. Students raised different questions. T: You have so many questions about hiking. Do you want to know my questions? Let’s see. Why do you love hiking? Do you like to hike alone or with a group? Why? Where can we hike? What do we need when we hike? What can we do when we hike? T: These are my questions. Boys and grils, Did your parents go hiking? Ss: yes, they did. T: Do you ask them why do they love hiking?you can find answer in the book. Ss: They love hiking because hiking is great exexice. Hiking is easy, too.
T: There are many reasons people love hiking. We have four questions for four groups. Now, you four can make a group and dicuss your group question. 3>

Teacher’s note: 教学亮点:1. 通过本节课的学习,学生能运用所学知识去询问和表达爱好及喜欢它的原因,
2. 对课文文本处理时,让学生自学并提问,然后学生解决问题,老师辅助。这个环节对文本信息的挖掘、处理,是五年级学生应该培养的能力。
教学不足:1. 最后一个环节没有让学生充分地展示到本节课所学习的内容,对本节课的重点内容练习地不够扎实。
2. 对课文内容的处理不够深入,应该还原文本,让学生在语境中理解学习本课内容。
