教学过程:

Step 1 . Pre- reading

1.Let’s play

If you see a phrase, read it and do it.

If you see a tiger, shout Ahh.

(Purpose: Review some words and phrases we have learnt.)

2.Let’s guess

Today I bring some presents for you.Here are three boxes.What are the presents?

a.Clothes: jacket ,T-shirt, cap (学生用句型Is this a ...?提问)

b.Toys: ball, car ,robot (学生用句型Is that a ...?提问)

学习句型:Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t. isn’t=is not

c.Stationery: pen, pencil ,pencil case (学生用句型Is that a ...?提问) (Purpose: To practice and consolidate the new sentences)

Step 2 .While-reading

1.Watch and choose:

What’s the story about?

A.The pencil is lost(丢失).

B.The pencil is broken(弄坏).

C.The pencil is stolen(被偷).

2.Listen and underline

Liu Tao and Yang Ling help Mike . How do they help Mike? Find the sentences and underline.

3.Let’s learn

Mike finds the pencil at last.What does he say? Find the sentence and read aloud. that’s =that is

4.Listen and repeat.

( Purpose: To lead the students to understand the story further and further. Enable them to improve the skills of listening and reading.)

Step 3.Post-reading

1.Act out in groups.

(Purpose: Enable the students to use the new sentences and words freely and correctly. To check the learning effectiveness.)
