(1)能听、说、认、读有关玩具的名称。

(2)能用英语询问物品价格。

(3)能在创设的模拟购物情境中,运用玩具进行短文对话。

3、情感目标:通过学生参与运用英语进行购物,提高英语学习兴趣。同时培养学生懂得分享,互帮互助的生活情趣。

二、教学重难点:

1、掌握词汇ship, teddy bear, panda和句型How much is the …? It’s …yuan.

2、能运用所学句型模拟购物。

四、教学步骤

Step1. Warm-up

1.Greetings

2. Sing a song: Ten little baby ducks.

T: I’m fine too. Let’s sing a song. Ten little baby ducks.

(设计意图:通过师生对话,演唱一首轻松活泼的歌曲,充分调动了学生的学习热情与课堂气氛,同时也为接下来的教学打下铺垫。)

Step2. Lead in

1.Game1: 切西瓜

T:Good job! Boys and girls. Do you like fruit ninja(切西瓜)?

Ss: YES!

2.Game2: 速算小达人

T: Great, you can say the numbers very well. Can you do math in English? Let’s play “I’m good at math.”

This is for T1 and this is for T2. Let’s see who is better.

3.揭示课题

T: EXCELLENT! Look, these are two trains. Where are the trains going?

T: They are going to a toy shop. Today we are going to learn U5 TOYS LESSON 9. Now follow me. Toys. (升降调)

(设计意图:通过游戏,让学生复习已学过的单词,激活先前学习的知识。创设的情景,自然巧妙地引出本课主题。)

Step 3: Presentation.

1.单词教学toy ship, panda, teddy bear

(1)看一看,说一说。教toy ship,

T: Now I have a magic wand. I can show you the toys in the toy shop. Let’s see. Look! This is a …

T:And the last one is a toy ship. Look! In “she”Sh pronounce …and in “six”, I pronounce …

Now who can read ship?

S1:…

T: Very good.

(2)猜一猜:我最喜欢的玩具?教panda, teddy bear

T:So many toys. What’s your favorite toy?

T: Guess what’s my favorite toy? I’ll give you some hint. (PPT 出示提示)

Ss: …

T: Wow, you are so clever!

T: This is Kung Fu Panda. He has a friend teddy bear. But teddy bear is very shy. Let’s call him out. (带读)

(设计意图:抓住学生好奇心强的特点,设计了“魔术棒”和“猜谜”两个环节,

激发学生说的欲望,让学生快速,有效地记住新单词。)

2.巩固单词

游戏:打地鼠

T: Great! Are you tired now? Let’s play a game. Here are the rules. Stand up and say the word quickly.

(设计意图:通过游戏,让学生在轻松的活动中巩固所学知识,达到寓教于乐的目的。)

Step 4: Text Reading

1.观看课文视频,回答问题。

T: Wow! So many toys! Look Mrs. Miller is in the toy shop. She needs a present for her son. She says:

S1: I need a present for my son.

T: Let’s see the video and answer two questions:

What does Mrs. Miller want to buy?

How much is it? (板书)

2.跟读课文。

(设计意图:让学生听读课文,对学生进行语言输入,让学生在具体的语境中体会、理解新的知识,同时为后面的语言输出环节做好铺垫。)

Step 5: Consolidation

1.Game: 玩具小达人

T: You’ve done a great job. Here I have some more toys. Let’s guess: How much are they? Here is the rule.

2.根据提示,模仿课文编对话。

(设计意图:此环节的目的是为了输出语言,让学生在猜谜游戏,编对话的活动中激发思维,刺激他们去运用语言,开展交谈。)

Step6: Production: Shopping for love

1.漂流瓶的愿望

T: I guess they are very happy. They have presents. Last Saturday was Children’s Day. Are you happy on Children’s Day?

Ss: Yes!

T: Why?

S1: I have a present from my mother.

T: Yes. You can have toys on Children’s Day. But there are some children. They have no money to buy a toy. But they wish to have one. Look. Choose the bottle and read their wishes.

2.买玩具,献爱心(二到四人小组表演对话)

T: Do you want to help them? Let’s buy some toys for them. I will give you two minutes. You may use these sentences.

T: Look how happy they are!

(设计意图:把新学单词和已学句型有机地结合起来,让学生在语言的实际生活中去感受英语的实用性,培养学生综合语言运用能力。同时在活动中渗透情感教育,加深学生对“更多分享,更多欢乐”的理解,提升了其社会价值。)
