Teacher asks some questions. For example:

Q1: Do you like playing chess? Q2: If human being play chess with a robot, who will win? Then the teacher shows a piece of news that shows the competition between robot and human being.

Q3: With a “chip”, computer can bring more applications to us.

Then teachers shows some pictures students are encouraged to think more applications that robots can do. Q4: Can you imagine a robot that can play soccer? Step 2: Fast reading Students read the passage following the recorder. And then fill in the blanks which are about the basic information of Andy. Step 3: Detailed reading Students read the passage paragraph by paragraph and then fill in the blanks. Para1: Self-introduction about Andy

Give students 5min to discuss and then let 3 students express their ideas. Step 5: Summary We should know that science and technology is a double-edged sword. we should make use of its advantages while recognizing its harm. Let science and technology benefit mankind. Reflection: The biggest problem is that there are still some time after finishing all the tasks. Therefore, the teacher should mange time suitable. There should be more time for students’ discussion.
