Step I Lead in Show some sentences containing –ing as subject and object on the blackboard. A good beginning is half done. You want to improve your English. You enjoy studying English. I look forward to seeing it, Get Ss to pay attention to the –ing form and tell it’s function in each sentence . Step Ⅱ

Find out the sentences using –ing form on Page 10

(Group Work) Ss discuss the sentences and draw them on the paper. The teacher choose some students to show their findings. Step Ⅲ

Step VI Homework Fill in the blanks with the verbs in their proper forms I used to like to go to our local cinema. It was old and rather uncomfortable, but it had character.
