:
本课时的主要内容是描述吴一凡及其家人在酒店所发生的事情,加深学生对动词过去式的综合运用能力。分为读、写两部分:第一部分要求学生完成读前活动,然后读文段,看图搭配并描述及填表格。第二部分书写活动:填充邮件。
教学目标:
1.学习单词hotel,fixed,broken,lamp,loud,stay,enjoy. 2.能寻找关键信息并能用过去式谈论过去的事情。
3.能根据阅读所获取的信息完成填充邮件的活动。
教学重难点:
1.掌握重点单词hotel,fixed,broken,lamp,loud,stay,enjoy. 2.能寻找关键信息并能用过去式谈论过去的事情。

Ppt,word cards, pictures.

Step1. Warming up
1.Greetings
(活跃课堂气氛)
2.Review:
T:Last weekend, I stayed at home and watched TV.It was good. How about you? How was your weekend?
S:It was good/OK/bad.
T:What did you do?

Step 2. Presentation
1.T shows the photo of Mrs Broom and say :She is Mrs Broom .Then ask:
What does she do? Let the students guess the answer: housekeeper(客房服务员)
Teach “ housekeeper” and say :Mrs Broom is a keeper. 2.T shows the picture of the Holiday Hotel .Let the students guess the name of the place. Teach the word :hotel with the word card. (引出
Holiday hotel) 3. T: Mrs Broom works in the Holiday Hotel. What do you think she did yesterday? Choose the right answers

Step 3. Text Learning . 一.略读
1.T shows the pictures of Wu Yifan and Holiday Hotel .Then say :WuYifan and his family stayed in the Holiday Hotel last weekend. How was their stay? 2.Look at the result of the survey, Their stay was bad . Why? (用疑问导入课文)
3.Read quickly and underline the key sentences.
Tip: 关键句通常在句子的开头或结尾。(引导学生去寻找关键句)

4.Teach new words: enjoy and stay with the word cards. 5.Match the pictures with the sentnces. The answer is:
