Unit 5 How old are you? (the first period: story time) 一、教学目标：

（一）知识目标：

1. 能听懂、会说、会读单词：nine, eight, ten, cool, lovely 2. 能听懂、会说、会读句子：How old are you ?及其回答I’m ···. /I’m…years old. Welcome to toy museum. 3. 理解句子Here you are. 在文中的含义。 4.了解中西方文化中关于询问年龄的文化差异。

（二）技能目标：

1.能整体感知故事内容，理解课文的幽默之处。

2.能在教师的指导下用英语表演故事。

3.能正确认读、有感情朗读故事，并根据板书复述故事。 （三）情感目标：

1. 通过本单元学习，激发学生对英语学科的好奇心以及学习兴趣，积极参与各种课堂活动,提升英语综合运用能力。

2. 明白不同玩具适合不同年龄的孩子。正确选择合适自己的玩具。

二、教学重点、难点：

1. 重点：故事的正确朗读，语音语调的有效模仿。

正确运用How old are you ?及其回答I’m ···. /I’m…years old. 2. 难点: Welcome to toy museum.的朗读教学 故事的整体表达和复述

生字卡、

四、教学过程：

Step 1 Warming up 1 sing a song 《How old are you?》

T: What’s the name of the song? S: How old are you ? T: Today , we will learn

T: How old are you? It’s a question to ask someone’s age. Excuse me, How old are you ? Are you nine? 出示生字卡

Step 3 Consolidation 1. Read the story after the tape. 2. Retell the story according to the blackboard design 3. Act the story. 4. Make a new story in the book museum , then act it out.
