Step 1. 复习歌曲，导入新课

Sing a song ,My Small Cat. turn to page 52. Please look at the picture,who is she? yeah, it's me. I'm1.58 meters,And this is my sister ,she is 1.45 meters.So how tall are you?

Step 2. 新课内容展示

1. 图片导入新单词。

T:Look at the first picture,the boy is young. and how about this baby?

S:very young. T: Yes, you are right. The baby is very young,so we could say the baby is younger than the boy. (板书younger) read after me . T:look at the second picture , lead in --older. T:look at the third picture. lead in-- taller. T：look at the fourth picture. lead in --shorter. T：look at the last picture. lead in --longer. 老师再拿两把长短不一的直尺教会longer, shorter. 2. 使用准备好的单词卡片巩固新单词

3. 进入对话

T：How old are you? S:I am 12 years old. T：You are very young,I am older than you, you are younger than me. Turn to page 5,look at this picture,listen to carfully,copy the dialogue. 4. 小组反复操练以上句型。
