Students of class 206 & 211,senior 1,most of the students are from the country, so it’s easy to get involved in the class. Asking students to preview the lesson by reading it. 四、教学过程

Step1 Greetings Greet the whole class as usual. Step2 Lead in In the past few days we have learned unit 1.women of achievement. This period we come to unit2 working the land. Are you from the countryside? What do you about farming? What have you absented about farming? Let students have a free talk. Step3 Warming up Ask the rest of the class what experience they have in growing plants o looking after a garden. Ask students whether they have been to the countryside. Divide the class into groups to discuss the contents above. Draw some conclusions from the discussion on the board so that the students can see that they have taken their ideas seriously. Let students look at pictures and some slides the teacher collected to learn more about farming and agriculture. Ask students if they still agree with their earlier ideas. Step4 Word study Teach the new words and phrases in this unit. Let students read the new words and phrases after the tape. Remind students to pay attention to pronunciation and stress. Give students several minutes to read and remember these words. Introduce some usages of words to students. Show the following on
