The pronunciation of lion. 2.

To be able to ask the reason of human/animal’s feelings. Learning Aids：Tape, flashcards, PPT Learning Steps I. Revision and Warmer. 1. The little teacher leads the ss to review lesson 8. 2. I say, you do.(happy train) II. The presentation of the new material 1.

Show five balloons on PPT, then ask the students to guess What’s in these ballons? One is for HAPPY /AFRAID /WOLF, One is for LION

(new animal) One is for FOX (new animal) 2. Compare and find out who is bigger/stronger/ faster? If they meet each other, who will be the winner?

The story of a lion and a fox (two students play the roles

of these two animals) The fox is happy, the lion is angry. 3. Ss ask the fox/ lion “Why are you so happy/ angry?”

FOX: I have a bone. LION: The fox took away my bone. Read the phrases and practice with the key sentences. 4. Show another three pics and ask them work in pairs. 5. Listen and repeat. III. Drill 1.

Practice the key sentences with game “Where is my pencil?”

S(angry) Ss: XXX, Why are you so angry? S: XX took away my pencil. (three chances) Ss: Yes/ No. 2. Tom and Jerry have a birthday party. They invited four animal friends to join their party. Match the animals and foods. 3. Listen and fill in the blanks according to the pics. IV. Summation and distillation of emotion. 1. Show three pics, ask the students to smile more. 2. Which team is the winner? (With appraisements) 3. Homework ①Read lesson 9 five times. ②Do exercise 2 on page 21.
