Unit 10 教材分析：本节课是六年级上册第十单元第一课时的内容，描述有关某地的地理位置及线路的简单信息，询问及回答如何到达某处。

学生分析：六年级学生经过三年多的学习已具备一定的英语基础，掌握了许多词汇及句型，但个别学生口语表达能力差，自信心不足，不敢回答问题，针对这种情况，我采用小组活动，并且运用分层提问法，树立后进生的自信，激发他们的学习兴趣，共同学好本课的内容。

教学目标：1.能听懂、会说Go alone this street.Turn right on the second street.并能在实际情景中运用。

2.能听、说、读、写核心词汇：go alone,turn feft,turn right,next to,near。

3.能用所学单词和句子：Where is the nearest folwer shop?Let me check the map online。进行简单的会话交流。

4.通过本课学习，了解更多获得信息和资讯的途径。

5.乐于为他人提供帮助。

教学重点：1.能运用本单元核心句子描述线路。
